The Challenge: Merging teams and scaling without headcount risk
Broekhuis is a pioneer in the automotive industry, continually evolving its internal and customer-facing software systems. When they needed to merge their teams for internal and customer-oriented software, they faced a significant challenge: rapid developer demand with no desire to take on the risk of traditional hiring and layoffs.

The Solution: A team that flexes with the workload
Tunga began working with Broekhuis in the summer of 2023, integrating one developer initially. At peak development, the team expanded to five Tunga developers, then scaled back down based on the workload.
The team includes Clement Omiwale (Drupal/PHP), Edidiong Etuk (DevOps), and Emmanuel Obute (Python) — all from Nigeria — working alongside ten local IT professionals. With currently three Tunga developers embedded in the team of twenty IT professionals, Broekhuis continues to thrive. The partnership enables them to scale up and down seamlessly without the administrative cost of hiring and layoffs.
